Anderson family.

Nina Anderson Pape (1869-1944) was the daughter of Colonel Edward Clifford Anderson and Nina Anderson. She taught in the public schools in Savannah. In 1900, she and Alice West organized the Pape and West School, which later combined with the Haskell School to become the Haskell-Pape School. It became the Pape School in 1908 and continued in operation throughout her life for several years after her death. Pape took an active part in the founding of the Girl Scouts in Savannah and was associated with that organization in several capacities for many years. She was nationally recognized as an outstanding educator and belonged to many national organizations in the field. She was an active member in several philanthropic, cultural, and social organizations in Savannah. Her brother was Edward Maffitt Anderson (1843-1923).
