Missionary; born Nancy Wood on November 2, 1932; received a BA degree from Wheaton College, 1954, majoring in Christian education; married Fred Folkerts, 1955; worked in Cameroon under the North American Baptist Conference, primarily with women and girls; supervised the mission guest house; returned to US, 1972; taught in Illinois in a public junior high school.
