Terry Allen was a United States (U.S.) Army officer. He was a 2nd and 1st lieutenant and captain, 14th U.S. Cavalry Regiment; major, 358th U.S. Infantry Regiment; major, 8th, 6th, 7th U.S. Cavalry Regiments; lieutenant colonel, 9th and 7th U.S. Cavalry Regiments; brigadier general, 3rd Cavalry Brigade and 2nd Cavalry Division and 36th Infantry Division; major general, 1st and 104th Infantry Divisions.
