Gillespie, Gerald, 1933-

Gerald Gillespie joined the Stanford University faculty in 1974, teaching in German studies, comparative literature, and humanities programs. A recipient of Fullbright, Guggenheim, Mellon, and NEH fellowships, he has published numerous books and articles and served on the editorial boards of several journals, including COMPARATIVE LITERATURE and GERMAN LIFE AND LETTERS.
