O'Connor, Frank, 1882-1959
Irish writer Frank O'Connor (1903–1966) was born Michael O'Donovan. During the Irish Literary Renaissance, O'Connor wrote for George Russell's [AE] The Irish Statesman . O'Connor also joined W. B. Yeats as director of the Abbey Theatre. O'Connor's short stories have been turned into stage performances. Other genres that O'Connor has written include translations of literary works, novels and autobiographies.
