American Cancer Society. North Carolina Division
The American Cancer Society is a non-profit organization involved in cancer research, education, advocacy, and service. William Clyde Bill Friday acted as president of the North Carolina Division of the organization in the mid-1950s. Friday was later the president of the University of North Carolina, 1956-1986.
