Schenck, William, 1740-1823
William Schenck, of Dutch origin, was born near Marlboro, in Monmouth County, New Jersey. He graduated from The College of New Jersey (now Princeton University) in 1767. He was a minister at New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York, and Ohio; and chaplain for the Continental Army.
