North Carolina Panel of American Women
Panel of American Women began in 1956; North Carolina Panel est. in Raleigh, N.C., by 1968; formed to help overcome prejudice and intolerance towards minority groups by having members on the panel discuss in presentations to civic, school, religious, and other groups how racial or religious prejudice has affected their lives and how they had reacted to it.
