Platner, Warren, 1919-2006
Joseph Warren Platner was born on June 18, 1919, in Baltimore. A designer and architect, he designed furniture representative of 1960s Modernism, as well as the offices for the Ford Foundation building and the original windows on the World Restaurant. Platner died on April 20, 2006, in New Haven, Connecticut.
