Zeiss, Carl Henry

Carl H. Zeiss was born in Chicago and was a strong supporter of Cold War conservative positions, in particular the fight against the repeal of the Connelly Amendment/Reservation to the original United Nations Charter in 1946. The amendment upheld the principle of the sovereign nation. Zeiss was active in the "Defenders of American Liberties" along with John F. Schlafly Jr.
