Bigelow, Isaac Joslyn, 1809-1887.
Son of Isaac and Nancy (Joslyn) Bigelow, born in Leominster, Massachusetts, February 24, 1809. He studied at Groton; attended Western Reserve University; graduated from the Eclectic Medical College, Cincinnati; and practiced for thirty years. Bigelow was associated with Garrison in the anti-slavery movement. He was a strong temperance advocate and died in Davidsburg, Michigan, December 1, 1887. (from Howe, A.B.
