Westbrook, Thomas, -1744
Thomas Westbrook, for whom the town of Westbrook, Maine was named, was a colonel during the French and Indian Wars, an agent in obtaining masts for the royal navy, and a businessman, owning a paper mill, a dam and in association with Samuel Waldo, various falls on the Presumpscot River.
