Kane, J. Herbert

Missionary, educator, missiologist, author; born in Canada on April 25, 1910; married Winnifred Mary Shepherd, 1932; graduated from Moody Bible Institute, 1935; went to China under China Inland Mission; had Bible conference ministry in Anhwei Province; moved base of operations and then exited China in 1950 due to communist activity; received B.A. (1954) and a L.H.D. (1971) from Barrington College and an M.A. from Brown University (1960); taught at Barrington and Trinity Evangelical Divinity School; died in 1988. Winnifred Kane born in 1912; died, 1983.
