Lake Tahoe Area Council
The Lake Tahoe Area Council (LTAC) was a private, non-profit, non-political organization established in 1958 to seek cooperation between private land owners at Lake Tahoe, Calif. and Nev., and government agencies in solving Tahoe Basin problems of planning, land use, park and recreational development, pollution control, and soil convervation. The LTAC disbanded in 1975 due to lack of funds.
