Gordon, Ernest, 1916-2002
Ernest Gordon was Dean of the Chapel at Princeton University from 1955 to 1981. As a Japanese prisoner of war, he worked on the Railroad of Death in the jungles of Thailand and helped build the infamous "Bridge over the River Kwai."
