Seaver, Henry Latimer,
Seaver was born in Boston in 1878 and educated at Harvard University (B.A., 1900; M.A., 1914). He taught at Harvard, then joined the Department of English and History at M.I.T. in 1901. He later taught European art history in the Department of Architecture at M.I.T. and in the early 1940s the same at the Lowthorpe School of Landscape Architecture for Women. Seaver was a collector of rare books, manuscripts and autographs. He was an amateur printer and photographer, as well as a printmaker and bookbinder. He was married in 1908 to Susan Russell (Smith College Class of 1901). Seaver died Nov. 1975.
