McLaughlin, Charles W., 1906-1990,
Surgeon, 1906-1990. McLaughlin received a bachelor of science in medicine from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, and then his medical degree from the Washington University School of Medicine in 1929. McLaughlin joined the faculty of the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1935. He served as president of the American College of Surgeons in 1974-75.
