Coleman, Sallie E., -1947
A native of Louisville, Ky., Sallie E. Downing moved to Indianapolis, Ind. as a child. She married John H. Vajen, and after his death she married William H. Coleman in 1889. She was active in a number of Indianapolis clubs and charities, and was a philanthropist.
