Missionary; born Paul Alfred Contento on August 14, 1905, in Volentare, Italy; educated at Moody Bible Institute (1927), Henry Martyn Islamic School in India (1937), University of California-Berkeley (1949); evangelism, church planting, teaching English, and student ministry with China Inland Mission/Overseas Missionary Fellowship in China (1928-1951), Bible college teaching and student ministry in Singapore (1951-1960), student ministry in Vietnam (1960-1975), and seminary teaching in the Philippines (1975-1982); married Maida Bolster, 1933; died August 1, 1997.
