Gwynne Temporary Home for Children.
The Temporary Home for the Destitute was founded in 1847 in Boston's South End to offer temporary shelter to children in need. The Home was renamed the Gwynne Temporary Home for Children in 1888. It merged with the Boston Children's Aid Society in 1915.
