Wardlaw, Ada

Ada Wyman Wardlaw (1896-1963) was born in Iowa and moved to California in 1902. She studied political science, receiving an M.A. from the University of California at Berkeley. Her career included teaching, research, and voluntary work. She was active in the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom, the Friends Committee on National Legislation, War Resisters League, the Pacifist Research Bureau, the American Friends Service Committee, and the Society of Friends. She was a staff member of Emile Benoit's Research in International Economics of Disarmament and Arms Control.
