Bradley, William, ca. 1695-1767.

William Bradley (ca. 1695-1767) married Elizabeth Dean on February 17, 1716 in London, England. He was sent to Georgia by the colony's Trustees in England in order to teach agriculture to the colonists. He arrived in 1736; in 1740 he left for South Carolina to avoid settling his account. He soon returned to England. His daughter Jane (ca. 1723-1794) married Captain John Barnard of the Georgia Rangers, and his daughter Martha (ca. 1721-1795) married Isaac Young. He had three sons: William Bradley (1725-1777); Richard Bradley (ca. 1727-1780); and James Bradley, (b. 1735).
