Smith, Eben (Ebenezer), 1831-1906
Colorado financier. Active in mining, banking, and railroad ventures. Developed mining properties in Central City and Leadville, Colorado. Smith and Jerome Chaffee organized the First National Bank of Colorado. Involved with David Moffatt in mining enterprises.
