Burnett, Eugene Paul.

Captain Eugene Paul Burnett ("Jean") served in Company A, 6th Georgia Regiment under Colonel Alfred Holt Colquitt. Delia Jordan (1842-1917) was the daughter of Rachel Gunby Jordan (1808-1886) and Sylvester Franklin Jordan. William Franklin Jordan and Robert Pierpont Jordan were in Company A, 6th Georgia Regiment with Captain Burnett. Both died in 1862. George Gunby Jordan joined the Confederate Army in 1863 and was a member of the Nelson Rangers. Following the war he was a businessman, banker and Railroad Commissioner of Georgia. He married Lizzie B. Curtis in 1881.
