Chapman, Dixie Robinson, 1912-1973.
Air Commodore Chapman was a pilot in the R.A.A.F. and an officer in the Department of the Air until his retirement in 1968. He is remembered in particular for his criticisms of the Defence Forces Retirement Benefits Scheme, criticisms which finally resulted in considerable improvements in the Scheme.
