Faculty and Friends Club (Florida State University).

The Faculty and Friends Club was a social organization that started in 1926 under the name of "The College Dames of the Florida State University College for Women", and included faculty wives. Between 1926 and 2003 it underwent 6 name changes in order to keep up with the changing name of the University and the scope and function of the organization. Its purpose is to create a social environment in which faculty and administrative staff, professional staff, and retirees of the entire university and their families can meet to exchange ideas and friendship.
