Hall, Robert, 1867-1949
Ornithologist. Developed an interest in birds at an early age. He accompanied a Norwegian expedition to Kerguelen Island in 1897. In 1903 Hall travelled 2500 miles up the Lena River, Siberia collecting 400 species of birds for Rothschild Museum in England. He served as curator of Tasmanian Museum, Hobart.
