Harrison family.
The Harrison family lived in La., and Benton and Selma (Ala.). Mattie Harrison, also known as "Blind Mattie," was a slave of Elizabeth Harrison and dictated her reminiscences to her grandaughter Mrs. John Faulk, Jr.
William H. May, a relative of the Harrisons, was a captain in the 3rd Ala. Infantry Regiment, CSA, and lived in Benton (Ala.).
