Peter Craig, donor.
Peter Craig was an attorney and compiled the attendance and financial data while working for the office of Senator Kefauver in the late 1940s to early 1950s. Craig spent a summer in the mid-1940s at the Sporting News compiling information. He acquired the ledgers from E.C. Jacobs, but how he knew Jacobs is unknown. Jacobs was an avid baseball fan and his ledgers are handwritten with legends. Source for this biographical sketch is as told by a former Baseball Hall of Fame staff member.
