Cleveland Plain Dealer.
During World War II and the Korean Conflict, newspapers and independent journalists photographed individual soldiers and groups of soldiers from Cleveland and northeast Ohio as part of their coverage of these wars. These photographs were donated to the Western Reserve Historical Society by the Cleveland Plain Dealer and have been organized alphabetically by the last name of the soldier pictured. In many cases, the accompanying newspaper article is attached to the photograph.
