Greene, Merritt H., 1894-1969.
Merritt Halstead Greene graduated from Norwich University in 1917 with a B.S. degree in electrical engineering. He was a member of Alpha Sigma Pi fraternity and of the rifle team. He also played baseball and served on the board of the War Whoop. Greene served in the Army Field Artillery for sixteen years after his graduation from Norwich. During World War II, Greene was stationed in northern Canada to open a pipeline to Alaska. He and his wife, Margaret, lived in California.
