Frank, James Calvin.

James Calvin Frank was a United States (U.S.) Army officer during World War II (WWII). He was a lieutenant colonel at Fort Sill as well as Camp Shanks, and Headquarters (HQ), Chinese Field Artillery Training Command; colonel, G-3, Y Force; artillery officer, Chinese Training Command; and deputy chief of staff, Chinese Combat Command. He was on duty at Fort Sill, January 1 to April 20, 1943, and served at Camp Shanks, May 17 to July 9, 1943. He then sailed for India, stopped briefly in Karachi, and from September 1943 to October 1945 served in China, principally at Kunming.
