Pitzer, Kenneth S. (Kenneth Sanborn), 1914-1997

Kenneth S. Pitzer was a Chemistry professor at the University of California, Berkeley. Pitzer also served as the Director of Research for the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission (1949-1951), president of Rice University (1961-1968), president of Stanford University (1968-1970) and a trustee at several colleges including Pitzer College.
