Carroll, John E. (John Edward), 1944-
Carroll, born in Brooklyn, joined the faculty of St. John's University in 1967, where he taught geography. He later created a degree program in Environmental Studies before leaving St. John's in 1974 to take a position at the University of New Hampshire's Institute of Natural and Environmental Resources.
