Shaw, Edmund P., 1890-1976.

Edmund "Ned" Shaw of Rutland, VT, pursued a course in civil engineering while at Norwich University. He was a member of Phi Kappa Delta. Shaw won both the freshman academic and freshman general average medals. He served as secretary to the class of 1913 and was a member of the Norwich minstrels and the glee club. He attended Norwich from 1909 to 1911 and did not graduate with his class. Edmund Shaw began work for the Clement National Bank in 1912 and stayed there for 50 years, during which time the bank merged with the Killington National and Rutland Trust Company and the Vermont Bank and Trust Company. He retired in 1962. The control file included with the collection contains additional biographical information on Edmund P Shaw.
