Transnational institute

Founded in 1973, initially as the international program of the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS), Washington DC; continued later as a non-profit world-wide fellowship of committed scholar-activists: researchers, scholars, writers and journalists; its areas of focus include militarism, conflict, poverty, social injustice, underdevelopment, North-South relations and environmental pollution; its centre is in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
