Johnson, James Henry, 1930-
James H. Johnson moved from a farm near Panama City, Fla., to Columbus, Ga. at the age of sixteen to work in what was then Bradley Manufacturing, later Fieldcrest Mills. Mr. Johnson started as a doffer and later worked in the spinning department as a fixer. He retired in 1993 after 47 years of service.
