Texas Tech University. Board of Regents
Originally called the Board of Directors when Texas Technological College was established in 1925, the Board of Regents is the body of individuals responsible for the overall administration of the Texas Tech University System. This governing body is comprised of nine members appointed to six-year terms by the Governor of Texas, and is concerned with setting policies and procedures, financial managment and strategic planning for the university and its growth.
