Whaling vessel, out of Sag Harbor, N.Y., mastered by Mercator Cooper, on voyage from 7 Aug. 1851 to 1855 (lost; ending this voyage) to the off southwest coast of South Africa, Coast of Kamchatka, Chatham Island, Balleny Islands, Japan, and Anadyr Sea whaling grounds; agent-owner: Huntting Cooper; built at Newbury, Mass., 1831.
