The Academic Vice President is responsible for all academic programs in the various schools, colleges, and departments of the University, including Admissions, the Library, and Division of Continuing Education. He is responsible for developing the academic stature of the University, developing curricula, improving instruction, and increasing the scholarly and creative work. He also is in charge of hiring, development and advancement of the faculty, and works directly with the deans.
