Inouye, Saburo, 1888-1968.

Saburo Inouye was born in Hiroshima and his wife, Michiyo Ibuka Inouye, was born in Yanagi, Tokyo, Japan. They immigrated to the United States in 1919 and settled in Sacramento. The Inouyes were relocated during World War II to Tule Lake Relocation Relocation Center, Calif., and later to Jerome Relocation Center in Arkansas. In 1944 the Inouyes moved to Philadelphia where they managed the Japanese American Hostel aiding the Japanese Americans relocating in the area.
