Lockheed Martin

The Lockheed Martin Corporation can trace its roots back to the earliest days of modern aviation. Glenn L. Martin established a company in 1909 that was a major airframe supplier to the U.S. Military and commercial industries. Around the same time, Allan Loughead founded the Lockheed Corporation, which also soon became a successful aircraft manufacturer. In 1995, the two merged to form the Lockheed Martin Corporation. This collection of patents was originally developed and maintained by the Lockheed Martin Corporation.
