Wheeler, Alton G., 1891-1984.

Alton Wheeler was from Waterbury, VT, and graduated with the Norwich University class of 1914. He was a member of Alpha Sigma Pi fraternity and the rifle team. He also served as editor-in-chief of the Reveille. Following his graduation, Alton Wheeler worked for the Pilgrim Plywood Company in Waterbury until 1962. He was active in both local and state politics. He was also a member of the Vermont State Guard, eventually holding the rank of major. He was married to Edith Boyce and the couple had two children. The control file included with the collection contains additional information on the life of Alton Grover Wheeler.
