Badoer, Federico, 1518-1593.
Badoer was Venician and ambassadore for the Republic of Venice three times; at the court of the duke of Urbino in 1547, at the court of Charles V in 1554 and at the court of Philip II in 1557. He founded a famous school of rhetoric and speech. He was also a noted collector of books, prints, and jewelry.
