Berman, Philip I. (Philip Isaac), 1915-1997.

Entrepreneur, philanthropist and art collector Philip I. Berman (1915-1997) married to Muriel M. (1914-2004) in September 1942. They lived in Allentown, PA, and had three children. Bermans travelled around the world, collected art and owned businesses (Fleetways Trucking Co., Allen Electric, Hess's Department Store), and were involved with several civic and cultural non-profit organizations such as Allentown Art Museum, Philadelphia Art Museum, Lehigh University, Ursinus College, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Hadassah, Leader Nursing Homes, Jewish Publication Society.
