Howe, Russell Warren, 1925-....
Russell Warren Howe (1925-2008) was a journalist and author. Born in England, he began a freelance writing career in 1948. He covered war, politics, and social conditions in Africa. In the early 1970s he moved to Washington D.C. and conducted interviews with national figures such as Jimmy Carter and Henry Kissinger. He contributed articles to the Washington Post, Christian Science Monitor, and Baltimore Sun. His books included "The Power Peddlers" and "Mata Hari".
