Conference on Crisis in Values: Its Meaning for Higher Education in the 1980's (1980 : Reno, Nev.)
The conference, held in April 1980, was a series of lectures and symposia to stimulate discussion and to re-examine the role of higher education in society, and specifically in Nevada society, at the the beginning of the 1980's. Speakers included Jerold Roschwalb, director of Governmental Relations for the National Association of State Universities and Land Grant Colleges; Robert Marshak, Distinguished Professor of Physics, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University; Harold Taylor, former president of Sarah Lawrence College and director of the Center for International Service at the College of Staten Island; and Arthur Bestor, Professor Emeritus of History at the University of Washington. James W. Hulse, Chairman of the Graduate Council, was project director.
