Kauffman, Bruce W.
The son of an attorney, Bruce Kauffman was born and raised in Atlantic City, New Jersey. He graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of Pennsylvania and went on to earn the Order of the Coif at Yale Law School in 1959. Mr. Kauffman became a trial attorney for the Philadelphia law firm, Dilworth, Paxson, Kalish & Kauffman where his clients ranged from Frank Sinatra to Donald Trump. From 1980-1982, he served on the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania, returning to Dilworth, Paxson at the end of his term. Mr. Kauffman acted as Chairman of the law firm from 1982 until his judicial appointment in 1998 to the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania
