Goodrich, Jasper H.

Jasper H. Goodrich lived in Augusta, Georgia prior to the Civil War. He probably joined the 1st Georgia Infantry Regiment, a unit which existed from 1861-1862. In April 1862, most of the Regiment's companies were absorbed into Company A of the 12th Battalion, Georgia Light Artillery. In November 1862, Company A was transferred to the 13th Battalion, Georgia Infantry which later became known as the 63rd Georgia Infantry Regiment.
