Harvard Art Association.
The Harvard Art Association, organized in November 1946, was open to undergraduate and graduate students interested in the subject of Fine Arts. With a studio in Sever Hall, the Association offered weekly classes and public lectures, and sponsored several exhibits of members' work. In 1950, the Association was granted permission to draw from nude female models in a University building for the first time in Harvard history.
